Thank you for your interest in R.E.A.P. This is a
unique program that brings sponsors and racers together to their mutual
benefit. Our many years of interactions with the dirt track community tell
us that many would like to be more involved in the programs of their
favorite racers but are not for a number of reasons; the perception that
their sponsorship dollars are too meager to make an impact and the desire to
ensure that their sponsorship dollars go into the race program and not some
place else would be the two most common concerns.
As a potential sponsor, there are a few facts that you must know: purses and
prize monies have not kept pace with the rate of inflation, the economy has
taken it's toll on our industry and the ability of our competitors to obtain
and maintain sponsorship, and finally most every dirt tracker out there is
grateful for all sponsorship, no matter how large or small.
The following are a series of questions and answers based on our
conversations with potential sponsors:
Q: Is there a minimum level of sponsorship?
A: There is no minimum or
maximum level of sponsorship. You should contribute what you are
comfortable giving.
Q: How does the program work?
A: It's quite simple, racers will enroll in the
R.E.A.P. program. The program is available to all dirt track
racers: Professional, Amateur &
Vintage. All enrolled riders will be featured on the sponsordirttrack
web site (www.sponsordirttrack.com).
Select your rider and become involved in their program.
If you are contributing through the
web site, you will be contacted the following day to collect your
payment information. You will be
asked for contact information and will have the option of having that
information passed on to your
racer(s).
Your racer(s) funds will be deposited
into their R.E.A.P. account to be used as necessary in their
race program.
Q: Do funds have an expiration date?
A: No, the monies deposited into a
racer(s) account do not expire.
Q: What if my racer(s) stop racing, requests to
leave or is asked to leave R.E.A.P.?
A: First, there is only one
reason a racer would be asked to leave the program. That would be
non-compliance with the contractual
provision that requires a personal "Thank You" to anyone who
contributes more than $50.00 to their
R.E.A.P. account.
If a racer leaves the program for
another reason, the rider may make a request that his/her funds
be transferred to another racer. But
ultimately, the decision lies with the sponsor(s). All monies
deposited into a racers account will
run on a "first in / first out" basis so it will be easier to
determine which sponsor(s) deposited
those funds. The sponsor(s) will be contacted and appraised
of the racers request. The sponsor(s)
then have three options: To honor that request, to transfer
the funds to another racer of their
choice, or to cash out the funds. The sponsor and only the
sponsor may cash out the funds in a
racers account. The racer will NEVER be afforded that
opportunity.
Again, we thank you for your interest, please take a few moments to review
the profiles of racers who have enrolled in the program . Racers will be
added as they enroll in the program, so feel free to check back often.
